Jess and Josh's Maui Session

While my husband and I were planning our vacation to Hawaii with a few other couples in our friend group, I decided to do some research into beautiful spots for photos on Maui. One of the couples who came with us was pregnant with their first, so I wanted a great place to get some maternity photos for her! I came across this wonderful photographer, Jess Johnson, who told me about some great spots to check out. A few weeks later Jess asked if I would do her and her husband’s photos while I was on the island since they literally hadn’t had their photos taken since their wedding 12 years ago! It was such a pleasure soaking up the beautiful Hawaiian morning with these two and as you can see, they are still beaming with love for each other after all these years! This is what my Hawaiian photo dreams are made of!

Martin and Maya's Engagement Session

I photographed the first part of this beautiful couple’s engagement pictures about a month ago on Treasure Island and they decided they wanted some more variety so we went to the Palace of Fine Arts this week to get some more great shots! It was raining when we got there, but we stayed under the dome until it let up. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the fall! Having two engagement sessions has served to make us really comfortable with each other, so I just know that the photos we take on their wedding day are going to be so fluid and beautiful!!

The Markman Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Markman’s maternity photos a couple months ago, so it was such a wild experience to photograph them again after they gave birth to their first baby! When I got to their home, baby boy was wide awake and totally ready for his photo shoot. As you’ll see below, he was such a happy camper the entire time and made our session so easy! I hope that in the years to come I’ll get to take some family photos of them around San Francisco!

The McCall Family

I met the McCalls on one of my trips to Kona, Hawaii about a year ago. The first time we got together, I went surfing with this gorgeous mama that you’ll see below! I’m not much of a surfer, but it was fun pretending to be from Blue Crush for a minute! When I knew we’d be coming into town again this year, I quickly reached out to see if they’d be interested in shooting with me because… as you’ll see… they are such a fun loving family and how could I not take my camera to one of the prettiest places on Earth?! We had such a fun time. Halfway through the shoot, their youngest daughter was dancing and accidentally fell into the ocean. OK. That sounds worse than it actually was. It wasn’t deep where she slipped in, and she only got her bottom half wet before Dad came to the rescue! Besides that though, we really did have a perfect shoot and I will never get tired of Hawaiian escapades! Take me back!
